For a couple of days we went to the computer lab and learned how to work photo shop.  It was really confusing at first then after the 3rd day it got a little easier.  On of the projects that we did was that we took a frog and a picture of a girls tongue and made a frog tongue, it took the whole period but I finally got it done.  This is a picture of the frog tongue when I got done.  

This week in art we started making bowls out of clay.  It was really fun and messy.  First we started by cutting out a pattern on paper then getting the clay and cutting the clay into the pattern that we made.  Once we did that we formed it over a bowl and let it dry then it was done.  After it was hard we put glaze on it.  After that they looked really good and was ready to go home.  This is a picture of my bowl finished. 

Here we started our pastel drawings of a still life.  It was much harder than I thought it would be.  It took about a week to get it how we wanted it and it was really messy.  This picture below was my final project it was much better than I thought. 

This is my group working on our paintings.  There was one person in the group that we painted and then we had to try to make them look as good as possible.  As you can see we really didnt do that good.  We didnt do as good as we thought we did. 

     

Here is a monster that we made out of clay.  We got the idea from kids from another state sent us pictures of monsters that they drew and named and we made them as best as we could and will send them back.  It took a couple of days and a big mess but we got them done.  After they were hard we painted them and they were good to go. 

One of the hardest things for me to draw is another persons face.  Getting it to look right and getting it to actually look like the person is really hard.  Trying to get every little shaded shape and every little shape is really hard for me.  Even though it is really hard I think that I did pretty good on drawing one of my class mates.    







   This is my final and for being no a great artiest I think that this drawing isn't that bad!
